Founder of Acuarela Events, María brings more than 30 years of professional experience in floral design and event décor. Her story with flowers began at a very young age in the family flower shop founded in 1966 on the coast of Lake Maracaibo, where she developed a natural sensitivity for beauty, detail, and creativity.
Over the years, she expanded her floral work across different cities in Venezuela, specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Her style is distinguished by its blend of romance, freshness, and sophistication, always in harmony with each client’s vision.
In 2007, she settled in Florida with her family and founded Acuarela Events in the Tampa Bay area. Since then, she has continued creating personalized floral designs with a warm, professional, and deeply dedicated approach to every event.
Emilia has been part of Acuarela Events since its beginnings, growing alongside the company and developing a strong vocation for event planning and hospitality. From an early age, she showed a natural inclination for organizing celebrations and creating meaningful experiences for others.
Her education in Hospitality and Tourism Management, together with her experience in hotels, country clubs, and private events since 2010, has allowed her to develop a well-rounded perspective on logistics, organization, and guest experience.
Emilia works closely with each client to ensure that every detail is carried out with care, harmony, and excellence. Her approach combines sensitivity, structure, and commitment, bringing to life thoughtfully designed, well-coordinated, and memorable events.
